Your New Year’s resolution: A 6-star rating.

You’ve followed our #PROtips series and you’re well on your way to become a 5-star driver-partner. To start the new year right, just follow the following tips to add an extra star to your rating:

1. Gauge your riders’ mood

Try and sense the mood in which your rider is in.Ask them how they are, or how their day was, and if you get a sense they do not want to talk during the trip, don’t force a conversation with them. It’s good to be aware of your rider’s emotional state as you meet them.

2. Provide 6-star amenities

Equip your car with a universal mobile phone charger for your riders! Other things you could provide your riders with include magazines, drinking water, candies and even an AUX cable. These could elevate riders’ experience during the trip.

3. Leave nothing behind

Everytime a rider leaves you car, check the backseat and remind them if they have left any of their belongings behind.

4. Show off your knowledge of your own city

If your rider is a foreigner, tell them some great places to visit in and around your city! They’ll truly appreciate your vast navigational knowledge and it’ll definitely make their trip more memorable.

Driver-partner #PROTips 4: Get your driving essentials in check!

Get your driving essentials in check!

Before the start of every journey, you’ve gotta make sure that you’ve got your driving necessities on point. Here are some tips to make every trip as smooth as possible:

• Get a fresh start every day
  Kick start your day with a hearty meal and stay hydrated throughout the day so you’ll stay fresh all day long. Feel free to take breaks in-between trips for a 10-minute snack or to stretch your legs.
• Lay off the booze
  Never drink any alcohol before or during your trip because driving under the influence is illegal. One can of beer won’t make you drunk, but it’ll make you sleepy. Also, make sure you get enough sleep the night before!
• Stay fly on WiFi
  Did you know that leaving your WiFi setting turned on on your phone improves GPS accuracy, even if you’re not connected to a WiFi network? This tracks any Wi-Fi access points which will improve your GPS location.
• Save up on fuel costs
  Conserve fuel as much as you can while on the road. Remove any unnecessary extra weight in your car and drive slow (but not too slow!) – it’s more fuel efficient to drive at 80 km/h than at 110 km/h.
• Mind your cue to refuel
  Don’t wait until your gas gauge is at ‘E’ to refuel, especially on an unfamiliar road. When the gauge shows only a quarter tank of fuel left, take that as your cue to start searching for a gas station.

Dengan setiap penilaian 5 bintang, anda bertanggungjawab untuk mengekalkan kualiti servis yang cemerlang. Minggu ini, kami membawakan tips untuk memastikan setiap penumpang anda mendapat pengalaman perjalanan yang terbaik dengan kami:

• Pandu dengan cermat dan kekalkan etika memandu yang baik
  Apabila penumpang memasuki kereta anda, biarlah mereka memilih tempat duduk mereka, sama ada di depan atau di belakang. Keselamatan adalah penting; anda perlu memandu seolah-olah anda sedang mengangkut barang yang berharga. 
  

• Elak mengguna telefon pintar sewaktu memandu
  Gunakan kit bebas tangan jika anda perlu menjawab panggilan penting. Jika anda mendapat panggilan yang tidak penting, jawab panggilan itu setelah anda telah selesai perjalanan anda.
  

• Bijak bernavigasi!
  Walaupun anda tahu arah perjalanan dengan baik, anda perlu sentiasa menggunakan aplikasi navigasi yang terdapat di dalam telefon pintar anda seperti Waze atau Google Maps, untuk membantu anda terutama sekali di jalan sesak.   Bersedia untuk memandu dan membawa penumpang anda ke destinasi mereka dengan segera. Kelewatan akan mencerminkan imej yang kurang memuaskan terhadap anda dan ia akan menjejaskan penilaian anda sebagai rakan-pemandu.
