Driver-partner #PROTips 3: Kekalkan adab yang baik!

Dengan setiap penilaian 5 bintang, anda bertanggungjawab untuk mengekalkan kualiti servis yang cemerlang. Minggu ini, kami membawakan tips untuk memastikan setiap penumpang anda mendapat pengalaman perjalanan yang terbaik dengan kami:

• Pandu dengan cermat dan kekalkan etika memandu yang baik
  Apabila penumpang memasuki kereta anda, biarlah mereka memilih tempat duduk mereka, sama ada di depan atau di belakang. Keselamatan adalah penting; anda perlu memandu seolah-olah anda sedang mengangkut barang yang berharga. 
  

• Elak mengguna telefon pintar sewaktu memandu
  Gunakan kit bebas tangan jika anda perlu menjawab panggilan penting. Jika anda mendapat panggilan yang tidak penting, jawab panggilan itu setelah anda telah selesai perjalanan anda.
  

• Bijak bernavigasi!
  Walaupun anda tahu arah perjalanan dengan baik, anda perlu sentiasa menggunakan aplikasi navigasi yang terdapat di dalam telefon pintar anda seperti Waze atau Google Maps, untuk membantu anda terutama sekali di jalan sesak. Tip ekstra: Gunakan fungsi ‘laluan paling cepat’ untuk sampai ke destinasi penumpang anda dengan segera.
  

• Kekalkan sifat positif sewaktu melakukan perjalanan
  Elakkan daripada berbincang tentang agama, politik atau isu-isu sensitif yang lain. Kekalkan perbualan yang ringan dan neutral, dan usahlah mengeluh tentang penumpang yang lain sewaktu melakukan perjalanan. Jika terdapat perjalanan yang kurang memuaskan, anda boleh membuat aduan kepada kami dan kami akan menyiasat dengan lebih terperinci.

In this week’s installment of #PROTips, we’ll tell you how to engage with your riders to ensure that they are having a great time, the Uber way:

• Smile, smile, smile
  Flash that winning smile of yours when riders get into your car, and make them feel welcomed. It’s the little gestures that will make their day.
• Gotta chat ’em all!Strike up a conversation with your riders; make an effort to get to know them! People love to talk about themselves. But if they are giving you short answers or are fiddling away on their phones, take that as a sign that they do not want to talk.
• Be there for themProvide your riders exceptional service: offer to turn the AC up or down, or even change the radio station to one that they prefer. Riders appreciate your effort to make them comfortable.
• Receive them with open doorsKeep in mind that all riders are different. You’ll encounter riders with all types of personalities, so keep an open mind and don’t be judgemental when you engage them.
• Loosen up and have fun!It’s always important to interact with your riders as though they are your friends. Engage with them, grace them with your sense of humour; it’ll help to cheer them up especially after a long day at work.
• Keep calm and carry onYour rider behaving in an unpleasant manner? Don’t worry. Just keep calm and do not engage with the rider directly. Just complete the trip and report the encounter to us. We’ll sort things out for you.

Calculating Your Earnings Boost

UBER Scheduled Rides

Since Uber’s magic of “push a button and get a ride” launched 6 years ago, people have valued the ability to access rides on-demand through our app. But we’ve also heard from our riders that sometimes they want to arrange a pickup in advance so they can rest assured that an Uber will be available when they need it, even if it’s for a 4AM ride to the airport.

We totally get it, and that’s why today we’re starting the Malaysian roll out of Scheduled Rides. With just a few taps on your app, you can schedule your ride 15 minutes to 30 days in advance and have the comfort of knowing your Uber will be there when it’s time to head out.

How it works:

• Select uberX and tap “Schedule a Ride.”
• Set your pickup date, time, location, and destination.
• Confirm the details of your upcoming trip and tap “Schedule uberX.” You can cancel at anytime before your ride is on the way.
• We’ll send you reminders both 24 hours and 30 minutes in advance of your pickup. You’ll be notified after your ride is on the way, as well as whether surge pricing applies.

Uber’s standard cancellation policy applies to Scheduled Rides as well. Riders can cancel their Scheduled Ride anytime without penalty before the driver is en-route to their pick up. Scheduled rides are no different for the drivers as well. The app constantly monitors the ETA; and when it’s time to request, it dispatches to closest Uber driver subsequently.

In KL you can request for scheduled rides in Bandar Utama, Bangsar, KL Sentral, MidValley, Damasara Uptown, Old Klang Road, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya and Sunway, Puchong and TTDI.

In Penang you can request for scheduled rides in Georgetown, Gurney, Pulau Tikus and Jelutong.

In Johor Bahru you can request for scheduled rides in Downtown, Taman Sentosa, Duty Free, Bukit Indah, Mount Austin, Skudai, Permas Jaya and Taman Molek.

In Ipoh you can request for scheduled rides in Greentown, Ipoh Garden, Canning Garden, OldTown, Taman Kemuncak and Boulevard.

In Kota Kinabalu you can request for scheduled rides in the City Center, Likas, Karamunsing, Bukit Padang, Penampang, Tanjung Aru and Sutera Harbour.

Apabila anda sudah online, ini adalah interface yang anda akan nampak.

Apabila ada ping/request masuk. Tap skrin untuk terima request

Setelah anda accept ping, ini adalah paparannya. Tekan navigate untuk buka app navigation (waze, maps). Destinasi akan terus dimasukkan. Anda hanya perlu tekan 'GO' di app navigation tersebut. Jika anda ingin menghubungi rider, tekan gambar buku kecil di sebelah 'En Route'

Di sini, anda boleh mengetahui dengan lebih detail siapa rider anda, dan anda boleh cotact dia dengan menekan butang 'Contact'

                                    

Setelah anda tiba ditempat pick up rider, tunggu sehingga rider masuk dan swipe butang 'Start Trip'. Jika perlu menghubungi rider, tekan simbol buku di sebelah 'En Route'. Jika trip ini adalah cash trip, akan ada 'Cash payment trip' tertera di atas butang 'Start Trip'.

                                 

Setelah tiba di destinasi, swipe butang 'Complete Trip' untuk menamatkan trip ini. Jika trip ini adalah cash trip, anda harus tekan 'Collect Cash' dahulu sebelum 'Complete Trip'.

Setelah end trip, anda boleh rate rider anda dan tekan 'Complete Rating', kemudian skrin akan balik ke gambar no.1.

Getting Paid

How Earnings are Calculated

The fare that you see when you end a trip will not be the final amount you are paid for that trip, but it is the total amount that is being charged to the rider. Over time during the same week, there could be some addition or deduction happen such as when there is a dispute from driver or rider. Once finalized, payment statement will be released to all partners-drivers. There are several things that make up this number in payment statement:

1. Gross Trip Fare: this is based on the time AND distance of the trips
2. Minus; Uber Fee: each trip, Uber will deduct 25% commission from the trip fare.
3. Plus; Tolls: if you had to pay a toll while on the trip, the total amount of this toll will be included in the fare.
4. Plus; Incentives: If applicable to you, incentive will be added into the statement (eg: guarantee hours etc2)

Lastly, Uber will deduct with any cash trip amount that you have collected during the week.

How and When Payment Happens

• Payment cycle is on weekly basis.
• Week cycle begins on Monday 4am and ends on the following Monday 4am.
• You will receive Payment Statement email by Tuesday 11:59pm with a link to your statement. You can also log in to your Partner Dashboard and click on ‘Pay Statements’.
• Your earnings will be deposit into your bank account usually on Tuesday - Wednesday. If you have not yet entered your banking information, login to your partner dashboard, look on the left tabs, click on Banking.

Cash Payment

All you need to know about rider using cash payment.

• Riders will have the option to pay by cash or credit card
• Cash trips will be rounded up to the nearest RM. Eg: RM9.30, RM9.50 will be rounded UP to RM10.
  
• Partners-Drivers are advised to carry ~RM20 in small change to help make transactions easier.
  
• Shall the amount shows RM0.00, do not collect any from rider. Uber will reimburse for the trip fare.

Forward Dispatch

The feature that allow drivers to accept another trip request while on trip.

• Partners will receive their next trip request while they are nearing the end of a current trip (before that the trip is over).
  
• After the trip is accepted, you will be returned to the navigation for the current trip.
• After completing the trip and rating the rider, you will automatically be ready to go for the next trip.
• With forward request, you will have less downtime in between trips and be connected with riders closer to your last drop off location.
